* Baslerleckerli –a honey, nut and spice bar cookie. These improve with age in the cookie tin-perfect with a hot cup of coffee and cozy all through the winter months

* Zimtsterne –a meringue, nut and cinnamon cookie cut out served at Christmas

* Brätzeli - Thin sugar tuile made in a decorative hot iron

* Chräbeli – Anise Crescents, a very popular spice in Holiday Cookies

* Spitzbuebe –aka ‘little rascals’ – A sandwich Cookie filled with Jam
